it is time to take my wife on a date.  We are going to Cirque du Soleil in the Twin Cities and then out to eat at Fogo de Chao.  She deserves it after putting up with the early hours and the turkey calling around the house.  I will not be dressing up but I will not be wearing camo either.

yes they do put up with a ton of you know what i take mine to hilton head after our pa season closes

Still haven't found one that could last through March, much less all turkey season. Though I guess I am a bit extreme.  :z-guntootsmiley:

Well mine starts in November with deer, then in February it is the squirrels, then March through April it is turkeys. Her b-day is in April, so she gets a very nice weekend away for the b-day and it officially ends my season every year.

I wish I could pronounce that place and the restaurant. What kind of food is it? Chinese. lol Go have a great time, she does deserve it. Mine does too.

The show we are going to is like a modern day circus I guess.  It involves different tricks and talents that show off balance and strength.  My wife saw one of their shows in Vegas years ago and is all pumped up about it.  The restaurant is a Brazilian place where they cut the cooked meat off for you at the table. They have a lot of good food. There is no way we could afford this place without the gift card we got for Christmas. Here is a link to the meat selection. It is all you can eat!!

That will be a great meal.  Been to the one downtown Indy.  Just the salad bar is incredible.

When my (now) wife and I started dating, I told her that if she could make it one hunting season (oct-april) that we could make it. Believe it or not she did. So yes they are out there. You just have to get lucky to find one.

Fogo de chao is possibly the greatest restaurant of all time.  Of course, someone else's company footed the bill for my dinner
People who don't get it, don't get that they don't get it.

Fogo is MUCH better when somebody else is paying.   :D    I paid once...probably won't again.
