If no luck here .Try BPS , saw some tss Carlson chokes there.

SgtUSMC

Thanks Owlhoot.  I have the Carlsons, Put up about 100 in 10 @ 40.  I'm sure I can get it a little tighter if I play with it a little bit more, all I did was pull crimp and replace shot with tss 9's in a winchester load.

I like the ease off this load tho and it'll kill, just want to try another choke

owlhoot

Oh boy , missed that one. Too many tasks at once I guess.
Have you tried that with any other loads? Remington, Federal ?

SgtUSMC

No sir I have not tried any factory loadings.   To be honest I'm just beginning to mess around with handloads  I have 5lbs of 9's on hand and just keeping it simple for now.  Sometimes simple ends up working for me lol.   These are 13/16 of 9's in a 2.5 shell.  Open crimp, dump shot, replace shot, reclose crimp.  Started out slow and safe, with half the shot, I'm up to the factory loaded payloads now.

These actually shoot pretty good for not doing anything, any gobbler under 40 is a dead man.  But since I'm not changing out wads I was thinking of getting a choke with some ports or stoppers to try and cut the wad outta the equation.
