A season in review

This year was a personal best, and one I'm pretty proud of. I hunted Virginia, Maryland and New Jersey and had some incredible hunts taking 8 birds and being along the ride for another. I did have two missed longbeards in there as well. Here are some pics, enjoy.
Started things off in VA
Double bearded jake - mostly full fan had me tricked
The seven beard~!
Buddy's longbeard I got to watch him shoot
Very cool hunt slipping in under them in the dark and shooting him 30 seconds after he hit the ground. Was 25 yards from him strutting on the limb!
And the last bird taken today, the last day of the season. 2" rotted off beard with 1 3/16" spurs!

And a few miscellaneous pics
14 future turkeys hopefully!
Big ole turtle my buddy couldn't resist picking up
This is for a hunt club, I thought it was pretty funny.
Seven points on one side
Fawn from the last week
And my superstitions!!

Big time congrats to a killer team member.
