WTB Pure Gold Non Ported for Mossberg 835

I'm a Pure Gold guy myself.  My 835, .670 ported Pure Gold and Hevi 7's put up 300 plus in 10 at 40 and hammer birds.  Personally, I didn't even know they made a non ported .670 until I went to their website just now.  Just curious, why the non-ported version?  If you are set on the non-ported version, you may have to order straight from Pure Gold.

I have a Pure Gold Tempest 670. The Tempest is non-ported, it was designed to handle the Federal Flite control wad. I shoot federal HEAVYWEIGHT 6 and 7 out of this choke. It performs extremely well on most loads including TSS, and long beards. Great choke....

Thanks Tombo.  I learned something about the PG ported and non ported today.  The Longbeards and Federal TSS's should shoot well out of either choke then, since neither have the Flite control wad???
