Alright guys I have a few good strikers but a dymondwood is as raspy as I have.  What other woods are raspy as well. Or maybe even more rasp? Thanks! James.

Out of all the strikers I have used I think dymondwood is the raspiest.

KYTURKEY

Snakewood tends to be raspy as well.

Clardh

Black and white Ebony from Bill Lyman has good rasp.

Spitten and drummen

To be honest some are a little more raspy than others but the way you play your pot really affects how raspy you want it.

Thanks guys I have several dymondwoods and they're all different at doing the same thing  if that makes sense.  I have a snakewood on the way and I'm excited to use it.
