Bought one the other day to see if I like it. I didn't want to drill a bracket on my gun so I went with the speed bead mount. Has anyone used one before and if so what are your thoughts. Thanks.

I have been running speed beads on a couple of my shotguns for a long time.

Red dots make getting hits MUCH easier and if there is no rail handy on your gun, the Speed Bead is a great solution.  Highly recommended!

Looks cool! Is this a better option than getting the gun drilled and tapped in your opinion?

I use one as well. Haven't had any problems with it.

Tried it, it would not hold zero. Moved on.

I bought one for my 11-87. I never could get the stupid wires to conform to my butstock. Lost my patience and threw it in the trash. Total junk.
Had my receiver tapped for a sumtoy mount.

Cut N Run

Had one for ten years.  The only time I had to change zero was when I changed sites from a FF ii to FF iii. Love how it keeps the site low over the receiver & out of the way.
