Entering a bird in NWTF records?

I just killed a good bird (1.5 inch spurs) and I would like to enter him in the NWTF database. However, I don't know anyone locally that is a member and could sign off as a witness. Could someone from a distance verify my pictures and sign off as a witness? Is this common practice? I noticed on the NWTF website that there is no time limit on entering a bird as long as documentation exists, which I am assuming refers to pictures. Can anyone shed some light?

I'd get a local conservation officer to be your witness.

You'll need two members to sign off on it since it has 1.5" spurs.

Has to be scored by someone that the NWTF recognizes and you have to be a member of NWTF to get into their record book.
