Just wondering if anyone has ever came across this yellow coloration on this Gobbler's neck or if anyone knows what it might be caused by?

No idea, looks like frostbite.

Shot a Fall hen with scabs like that. One of 100s of things wild turkeys get.

Can't say that i've ever seen or noticed that before, but very interesting.

I don't think there is anything wrong with that bird,...just a genetic anomaly.  Pretty cool coloration, though.

Nighthawk

I showed the picture to our states wildlife disease scientist and he said he thinks that it could be a stain from something that the turkey got into.

Could be I guess. It wouldn't wipe off and his feet were more of a orange color. I was leaning towards something genetic.

Killed one like that in Kansas his legs were yellow as well and I agree just a genetic glitch.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
