I have both Federal TSS 12ga hulls that I used to take birds this season.  Nothing about the expended crimp seems noteworthy.  The first roll crimp I remember using was the original old white Hevi 13.  It performed flawlessly for me.  Had great patterns with noticeably less recoil.  Sorry it is long out of production.

Good to hear that the hull roll-in after being shot is normal.  At $7 bucks a pop, I was a bit concerned!   ;D :toothy12:

I've shot two birds with them this year with good results. (Granted I don't know if they are any more dead than if I would have shot them with lead.) I bought 2 boxes of 5, and out of the ten shells, one of them was not sealed properly and the packing material kept falling out, and it wouldn't cycle in my gun properly. It's not the end of the world but at $8 a shell it would be nice to not have to scrap one.

BTW - I also have a box of Browning 7/9 TSS.  Loaned one to a buddy.  He took a gobbler with it.  These loads look identical to WW loads.  Black with a star crimp.  May have heard Winchester makes them for Browning.  A good alternative.  Came with a Thermocell as a rebate which made them cheap also.

Winchester makes browning shells.I used to get blocks of their .22 ammo in at work and you could plainly see Win on the top of casings.
