So my grandfather gave me his Remington .22 scoremaster he had when he was a boy. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Just wondering on the year/history of it. Here are some pictures although my camera is broke but you can still make it out, Thanks!

Look on gun broker to see if any are for sale. If so the seller will put some info about it. Or Google it

Might want to check the Remington forums over at rimfire central, lots of .22 collectors over there.

You waited all of 4 hours before you asked again?

Man, a day in the turkey woods must seem like forever to you. :funnyturkey:

Since you are blessed to still have a grandad is just ask him all about it and most importantly ask him about all the hunts he can remember about shooting it.

Oh he has some good ones. He said he got it when he was 12 and would take his dog with him rabbit hunting on the same family farm that I hunt today. It's really sad to see my grandparents getting older. He is 83 now and has a hard time getting around but I have been very blessed to have them as long as I have. He just couldn't remember if the gun was new or if he got it somewhere where it was made a year or two earlier or whatsoever
