LaCrosse Venom or Danner Vital Snake Boots

Anyone have experience with either of these two Snake Boots?
These two are priced about the same. I have  heard good things about the Danner Pronghorns but they are about $100 more expensive than the Danner Vital per the Danner Website and out of range for me.
