My buddy wrote a quick little blog. Thought it was kind of cool story. Check it out.

Good story, wish there had been more to it. I got my uncles Savage model 340 in .222 Remington after he died and have to say it is a tac driver. Used to like to listen to him talk about when he lived in the Dakota's (Sorry can't remember which) and back then they had a bounty on prairie dogs and he would go out with a couple boxes of ammo, a cooler full of beer, a lawn chair and a umbrella he would shove into the ground for shade and would sit and shoot them all day. He would take his kills (I think it was wither just the tail or a ear from a particular side) in and get his bounty and it would pay for him to get a dinner, a few more boxes of ammo and the gas to go out the next weekend.

I shared the feedback with him. He really appreciated it.

Thanks or checking it out.

I always say the best gun is a gun with a story.
