Not lucky enough yet to hunt Florida. When I know I have to cross a good ditch here or some swamp, I use hip boots and roll them down when I get set up. Wear my golf footies inside my boots.

Rocky gortex snake boots and a 20 dollar boot drier. Wet feet gonna happen in the swamps.

Not sure about swamps in Florida, but swamps in Louisiana tend to have a pretty high number of cottonmouth moccasins.... I can live with wet feet if need be... but that nasty cottonmouth bite is not something I am going to chance. I wear rubber snake proof boots and try to not step in deep holes. Add the boot drier for after your hunt, just in case.
