Anybody on here hunt in New Hampshire?  I'm from Maine and I am interested in hunting in NH this spring for a couple weekends in the later half of May.  Just looking for general areas in the state to be looking for decent action on birds.   What units are better than others?  What units offer plenty of public land opportunities?  Looking specifically on information for units J2, L, and M.

I live in Connecticut and have also been interested in NH and VT for turkey.  I heard you can only kill 1 in NH during the spring but I heard there are birds everywhere.  I also believe you can hunt any land that's not posted.

I believe New Hampshire is 2 now.

NH is two spring birds now. You have to tag the first bird before you can hunt the second. All the laws are on the NH F&G website.

Is the NH hunting as good as I've heard?

Too late lol. I sometimes can't believe how open and inviting some of the Northeast states hunters are. I guess they haven't had Turkeys long enough to know what is coming. The north eastern march is on and hopefully won't end up like Kansas and Nebraska. I plan on getting in before the gold rush lol
When you see a bunch of Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas plates you'll know it's happening.
If you make everything easy how do you know when your good at anything?

It's an attitude, we appreciate hard working down to earth folks. We are inherently friendly. Just stay out of Boston and Hartford

I'm from Mississippi and been living in CT almost 6 years.  I will say Connecticut is easier than Mississippi but not as easy as Texas!
