Thanks everyone.  Appreciate the input.

Love my prana zion pants for being in the woods, but get a little anxious about turkey eyesight especially as they get a little pressured in the later seasons.  Im going to run what I have and see how it works this spring, bring my older mossy oak camo cotton pants along in case...  :)

Happy

I have called turkeys to with 20 yards wearing jeans and a t-shirt multiple times. These are hunted turkeys. I really wouldn't worry about it to much. If you have other stuff you like to wear then go with it.

Bottomland

Being still is key.  I had a hen pass me no lie at 5 feet in the middle of a road before.  The road had a bend in it and I was on my hands and knees creeping up to glass down the road.  I looked up and saw a hen heading my way from about 30 yards.  I remained still and she passed me at 5 ft and kept walking.  Lucky me I knew the birds where henned up so I just dropped to my stomach and about 5 mins later longboard showed up and killed him in the road.

I was wearing olive green pants and bottomland shirt and I weigh 300lbs so big object in the road.

Spurs

While I totally agree that being still is a huge part, make sure to use camo.  You can get camo super cheap and it's worth the added protection.  Just like scent control deer hunting, it may not kill a buck, but it could be the difference in those last couple of steps.
This year is going to suck!!!

I like the Prana Zions also. I have a green pair and the mud pair.  I usually prefer solids in general. I used to poke a little fun at the guys wearing all the Mossy Oak patterns but now I find myself being lured into the vintage Camo lust lol.  It would be nice if Prana or Kuhl would make some bottom land pants. Those are my two favorite pants to wear.

You could always just get a set of leafy wear over-pants.

Always have been a fan of leafy wear. Seals the deal. Why risk being detected after all the work of getting him close enough to hear your heart beating.

My struggle is I like my other pants so much I feel like most of the hunting brand pants are not as good of quality. I would be happy to wear Camo but I feel like I have to step down in comfort and quality to do so. What are some of y'alls favorite brands of pants that are similar to a pair of Kuhls? The Kuhls and Pranas are around a 88/12 Nylon Spandex blend with 4 way stretch.  And they are durable. I would buy a Mossy Oak pair of either one in a heartbeat.

As long as it is not a dark olive or brown.  Do not think it bothers the turkeys, but I always worry about what another guy with a gun is thinking when he sees dark objects moving through the woods.

Yes I avoid coyote and black during deer and hog hunts. And obviously wouldn't wear black during turkey season.
