Sound File - Chris Brumfiel Trumpet

I picked up this Chris Brumfiel Osage Orange Trumpet recently here on the OG classifieds. Brumfiel trumpets don't get mentioned too often so I wanted to post up a sound file and review. I think the trumpet is as easy a player as I have ever had, it seems to sound pretty darn good too.The trumpet is very light and the barrel diameter is very thin. Craftsmanship is good, albeit simple in design and construction(which is not a bad thing).

This sound clip was in the woods in my backyard, I am approximately 20 yards from the recorder, facing away and playing into a little bottom. the wife decided to walk down while I was recording so you get to hear her footsteps and a little conversation between us too....lol....I wasn't about to go record it again.

LOL....yeah, I was gong to shoo the "hen" away, but dinner wasn't that far away

This trumpet is an easy player.

Sounds good to me. I like Chris's trumpet as well and had some success with it last spring.
