I was going to try deep cleaning the barrel on my newer SBE 2. Was wondering if there were any bore solvents I should avoid using on the crio + barrel?

I use a lot of Hoppe's #9 because it's widely available, very reasonably priced but most of all because it works.

If your gun has a camo finish, just wipe it off and it should be fine.

Unless the bore solvent is about 300 dergrees below freezing you should be fine.   :toothy12:    The crio treatment actually should make the metal more durable and easier to clean by smoothing out the bore serfice which is pollished and then chromed anyways.
