Lots of gobbling in Franklin county the past 4 days. Sunday morning there were 6 toms ripping it up till 8AM. This morning they were at it again but I was done by 6:30 AM (22 pounder) so I can't say how long it lasted. But they were sounding off the whole time as I walked back to the vehicle.
Is there much public land in Franklin County??  Feel free to PM me.  Thanks!

Definitely tougher this spring in the Twain. As many hunters as ever and less gobblers. Those bad hatches are showing.

Congrats on the bird. This was year 27 for me hunting Texas and Shannon Counties, first 9 days of the season  very tough. Only killed on bird on the first Thursday. Very little gobbling and none after 0800.
Don't gobble at me...
