Waiting on my 20

Stumbled upon the OG forum while researching my next turkey gun.  I knew that some used 20s on Turkeys, and you convinced me.  Just ordered a Brand Spankin New Mossberg 500 Grand Slam Turkey in 20 gauge.  No one around here seems to keep 20 gauge turkey guns in stock.  Now I just gotta wait a few days!   :character0029:

Geez...  It's not pink!   :icon_thumright:  What can I say.  I'm a firm believer in using "enough" gun for the job.  Why use more?  :z-winnersmiley:

Picked it up today!  Clean it tomorrow, pattern it Saturday, and hunt Monday! :z-guntootsmiley:

Let us know how it performs. Thanks!
If I had a dollar for every gobbler I thought I fooled I'd be well off!

It did ok, I guess!

My first gobbler, April 26, 2011!  Just a jake that looks like he already had his butt kicked by a Tom or two.  Called him in from a couple hundred yards away.  Rainy and windy.  We even got snowed on over the four days.  Got another tag and hunted two more days, getting busted twice.  I learned a lot there, and here on Old Gobbler.  Thanks to all.

Man, you don't believe in fooling around, do you?

Good job!

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

For various reasons I got a bit behind in buying the thing and had to rush.  Luckily we've been deer & elk hunting in the area, and already kinda knew where there are birds!
