I tried on the Irish Setters this weekend and couldn't stand the padding at the top of the boot. If it wasn't for that, I'd have got them. Loved the boot part itself

Going to try out the Muck Pursuit boots this year.  I mainly hunt in a river bottom and keeping dry feet is paramount.  They probably won't be the most comfortable boots I've hunted in but I'm going to give it a whirl.

I've tried several...the best two that I have experience with are Danner pronghorn snake boots...a little bit heavy, but waterproof, and super comfortable. I haven't found any snake boots as comfortable as those were. Sadly, they got left outside, and my lovely bulldog was able to chew a sole off of them after I used them for 3.5 years. I'm sure I would still be using them if it weren't for that.

My second recommendation, and I dont believe they are in production any more, are the Cabela's snake boots with the boa tightening system. They are comfortable (not as comfortable as the Danners), and super quick on and off. I haven't had any problems with them leaking. I like them. Lighter than the Danners, as well, so for those days when several miles are being logged, they are nice.

I'll cast my vote for Irish Setter Vaprtreks. I've been wearing mine for 2 years now with zero issues. I haven't tried all of the brands out there, but of the one's I've tried, these have been my favorite. Super light weight and comfortable. Mine feels like extra high top tennis shoes. Good luck.

I have a pair of these, and they are very comfortable.
