I posted this on the 20 gauge area, but I would like input on a couple of old school 20s that have been in my family for a long time. The 1100 mention is actually the gun that I killed my first turkey, duck, and squirrel with. I shot my first turkey with some high brass #6 squirrel loads, but wanted to see if there were more opinions on the use of TSS/Hevi loads with the manufactured Full choke bbl.
Question for the masses regarding a Rem 1100 20 and Browning A5 20:
Both guns have a "Lead Only Barrel" that is the manufactured Full choke. Also, both are 2-3/4" receivers.
Has anyone produced a custom 2-3/4" load with a Full Choke that can put good numbers on paper?
