Wheel barrow tube for me

I used a fatboy cushion all deer season.  It's worth the money

I love my HS strut, strut seat. Keeps me off the ground and a little elevated.

I hate a cushion because that means I have to lean up against a tree, which normally means tree roots as well (15-20 minutes of this and you guys know where I'm going).  I value comfort and no movement so it's a chair for me, whether I set 30 minutes or 3 hours.

I never go to the deer stand without my Hunt Comfort Fat Boy cushion.  For hunting turkeys I use the one that is attached to my Alps vest.  As far as cushions go you cannot wear out a fat boy cushion.

Don't you guys find chairs Too heavy and bulky to carry,,nothing's more comfortable but they are cumbersome,,I only use mine on wet or very cold days when sitting on ground is miserable.

I have found with the chairs that the slope of the tree keeps you from getting close and having to sit out away from the tree.  I think its easier to be picked out in the chair 16-18'' off the tree.  Not sure others may chime in.

My chair is light and no problem for this 54 year old to carry and I walk a lot, and probably carry way to many calls, as for being near a tree I try to get away from trees and setup in tree tops or just some brush with no tree near by, it works for me!

Old Bones need TLC.  Yes chairs can be heavy and bulky but you have to weigh comfort and movement when you setup.  I personally can't stand to set on the ground against a tree and 15 minutes into the hunt both butt cheeks and my back be numb or worse have a root stuck where it shouldn't be.  With a chair I get up off the ground (no roots or wet or cold behind) and have a very comfortable back rest.  Comfort vs Bulk, I'll take COMFORT!  Just saying.

Wheel barrow tube for me.

I made a camo cover for a wheel barrow inner tube and have been using it for right at 23 years. No punctures or problems with it at all. It's rather light (air) and I can sit on it for as long as I need to.
