I mostly bow hunt for turkeys so yes to blind and decoys.  I also have young kids who struggle to stay still so the blind is great for them.   If I am hunting with a gun in the woods (not in or on the edge of a field), then typically no blind and no decoy.

I am also finding that as I get older, less is more.  I was laughing with a fishing friend recently and told him I was a much better fisherman when I only had one rod.  I have way too much stuff and half of it never gets used.

Blind for when it's supposed to rain all morning.  Decoys for field hunting.  I do however enjoy hunting in the woods and swamps where it's no decoy, no chair, just walking with my vest and gun.

A horse is acceptable, but only if you rope him in the wild and break him yourself.
