Been a long while since I've been on here. Just wanted to drop in and say hi to everyone and see how y'all have been doing.

Thanks, Shane

We're glad you found your way back.  Less than two months and counting for AL's opener. :icon_thumright:

Work/life gets in the way sometimes

Just make sure you get all that done so you can enjoy turkey season.

It will be here before you know it

Well, since you asked. Lol Dec12 I had 3 discs in my neck removed and titanium spacers inserted in their place. Then a metal plate screwed in front to hold everything in place. And bone taken from my sternum to fill in the back side of my neck. I'm doing really good now! Only problems I have are swallowing food and looking up.
Might not get to hunt turkeys with a shotgun because of recoil, so I'll probably be using my crossbow. Darned if I'm taking the spring season off.

I'm thinking healing thoughts for you 2eagles.  Baby steps man.  I had C-4, C-5, & C-6 fused together and it really improved my quality of life.  My range of motion changed, though it doesn't prevent me from doing much.

The good thing about getting that fixed, is that you won't need to worry about it hurting, causing nerve tingling, and muscle weakness again.   It may seem like time is crawling as you're waiting to resume normal activity, but you're closer to it every day.

Luck counts, good or bad.
