Top one is damascus with Sambar Deer antler and copper/brass spacers with Damascus pommel and guard, 16" long with 8" of cutting edge. Then the smaller knife with the two Bowies is a saw Blade skinner with brass and red fiber spacers, and a Hitchcock 1890's porcelain piece off of a brass drawer pull. The figure is an old style Eagle with stars and carrying a red banner. The last one is a Bowie made from a Pferd German Made Farriers Rasp. The handle is another deer antler I am thinking it was Mule Deer, dyed it brown and then scuffed it up to make it look old. I made the pommel and the guard from brass stock, the pommel is shaped like a projectile from a large caliper shell with copper and stainless and brass spacers....

Pappy you keep on & you gonna get pretty good at that.  Seriously you are making some fine looking knives along with all the other stuff you make. Keep up the great work pappy.

Really fine work!  Your antler to metal fit is great.  I love that Damascus blade.  Nicely done.

Luck counts, good or bad.

ty everyone for the kind words, I am the type of person who loves to venture out and try different things, always have. I sit back and think of what i have made over the years, and the thousands of pictures of items I have made, the smiling faces I have seen as they held something I did and i thank God for the talent and the opportunity to be able to do so.
As I grow older, I realize that the art of physically making items is fading slowly into the shadows, I think this is what drives me to keep on going. With one eye, no teeth, bad heart, pea size mind and not a dime in my pocket, I can still enjoy what i do ..... making smiles and creating art.
