So I've been looking around some.  What choke would you recommend for federal HW7 2 3/4".  Midway has the tight wad for 15.99?  I seen one recommendation for a Remington super full?

That smile is priceless! I found a old REM Hevi Shot choke on eBay.
The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.

I'd try that tightwad for him. From there I'd look at a carlsons/trulock .575-.585.

One thing I did with my son when he was 4 yrs old was we practiced shooting the lightest bird shot I could find at old duck decoys I had.  Gave him a good point of aim and allowed him to get used to some recoil.  Then I slipped in 3" heavy 13's for the hunts.  He never knew the difference.
