How do you clean your barrel

I wondered how other folks cleaned their barrel after pattern testing. It goes against every fiber of my being to clean a shotgun from the muzzle. With that being said me being somewhat OCD I worry about changing POI after disassembly and reassembly. So it become a almost never ending circle for me. If I have only shot it once say preseason to check POI or during season at turkey I will run a bore snake through it and can live with that until the end of season. After season I will break it down and give it a good cleaning before storing gun. I just wonder how other folks approached this task.

My way is probably not the best but works for me.  I use breakfree and wad up paper towels to fit the barrel. I soak the wads and then push the wad through the barrel using an arrow.  I do that until my paper towels comes out clean.

For a good cleaning, I use Butch's Bore Shine. I put it on a tornado brush and scrub for a while. (Kinda doing the deep clean that Clark recommends)
Then I use the fuzzy thing that comes in cleaning kits with a patch over it and scrub the bore until it comes out clean.

I use gun scrubber to clean trigger group and inside the receiver.

I don't normally clean em too often during hunting season unless they got wet or muddy.

I may "deep clean" prior to the season https://allaboutshooting.com/blogs/blog/98772615-deep-cleaning-a-shotgun-barrel and depending upon the gun I'm shooting, I may not clean it again until the season is finished or unless it gets wet. If I do clean it, I will put a patch in the chamber to let it catch debris and clean it from the muzzle with a dry bore brush.

I deep clean mine at the end of the season. After that, just sight it in at the first of season to make sure still on and typically just bore snake it occasionally during season. Deep clean again once season closes.

I adopted Clark's "Deep Cleaning Method" since I first read it umpteen years ago. How many rounds do you guys feel warrant that type of cleaning?
