I say aluminum. It makes birds gobble when others don't seem to do the trick.
Schafers aluminum pots have been absolutely killers for me. Best meat calls I've ever owned.  Dawkins stoned aluminum in plastic pot(seems to pierce the woods n grab their ear), Lonzo stoned aluminum, Mark Cornelious aluminum, Dustin Jones aluminum (might be most realistic sounding one I own) A few others are harder to get but the calls mentioned are some of my favorites.
x2 on the aluminum...has been a day saver for me on a few occasions...lonzo acrylic or schaeffer's

Halloran double glass is a good change-up to the twisted sister.  Little bit cleaner sound but still a rollover
This would be my recommendation
I'm loving my Double Glass

I personally think my Halloran ceramic is the easiest running pot I own. With a Halloran one piece Bloodwood or a Halloran one piece jatoba it has a nice higher pitched front that drops into a nice rasp. I will have it in my vest opening day. Also you can get so quite with it and it will still role over. I will make a sound file tomorrow if anyone wants to hear it
X2!
I've paired my Halloran Ceramic with a 1 piece Bloodwood. It's sweet!
