I just put my choke in my gun and noticed there is a gap between the end of the barrel and the raised part of the choke. Don't remember this from last year so wanted to check and see if any one else's does this.

Disclaimer: I did just have a stuck duck hunting choke removed. Not sure if that is what may be causing it.

I have seen this before. When you look down the choke does it look like the choke is screwed all the way down or is there a gap inside? No gap inside your gold.

My silver has the same thing
Causes no problem

Use a small stiff wire with a bend on the end to see if there is a gap

Fieldturkey

Your good, it's bottomed out inside

That's good. The choke should be fully seated and bottom out at the base. I have an expensive choke of another brand that is the opposite, it bottoms out on the knurled end and isn't fully seated on the inside. I won't shoot it.
