Where in the world do you get info on them?  I have been all over their website. I can't come up with rules or official targets or much of anything. I looked at the world record target and I believe a couple of my guns would be very competitive. Sounds like fun to boot.

I'm sure Clark will chime in soon. If there's a book about it, I bet he wrote it

Yep thought about sending him a pm.

One "challenge" has always been finding information about the still target shooting events. After seeing your post, I have published "The Rules" and a person to contact to learn more about the sport. Here's the link http://allaboutshooting.com/blogs/blog/nwtf-sanctioned-stll-target-shooting-events

There are both state and regional shoots each year. If you shoot and either win or come in second in a class in one of those events, you are automatically qualified to shoot in the semi-finals in the World Championship. You may also qualify for the semi-finals by winning a squad in the qualifying rounds at the World Championship.

Finding the state and regional events can also be a "challenge" since some are not posted on the NWTF calendar (under shooting events) until a very short time before the event. There should be an event at Mack's Prairie Wings in Stuttgart, Arkansas in March.

I will be happy to put a notice of upcoming still target events as I learn of them throughout the year.

It is a fun sport. I hope this helps some and please feel free to contact me any time about the sport or anything else in which I may be of help.

Thanks,
Clark
