i've had some frogg toggs for fishing and loved em. started using them for hunting and had the seams rip apart on two different pair. just got some under armour rain pants and haven't used em yet. was at bass pro recently and they had some gore-tex pants on sale for like $90, but i would have needed to lose about 120lbs to wear em. all they had left were smalls and mediums. figures.

I am blessed with enough days to hunt that I am not going to sit in an all day rain.  For times I get caught away from the truck in a shower I carry a very large military ponch that is longer in the back to accomodate a pack.  It is big enough to get everything including the gun under.  I will bivouac until the shower is over or head back to the truck if it sets in and arrive totaly dry, vest and gun included.
