Every one I know who is shooting a 20ga is using a Sumtoy .560 and Heavyweight #7s. It is definitely a killer combo. I cant speak on any other setups. TSS is also a very good route for a 20ga

We have a youth 870, and a youth 11-87.  For us, the Truglo SSX and federal Hvy. 7s worked the best in both.  And I agree with the ported choke.  No difference in recoil as best we can tell.  Limbsaver recoil pad does help significantly though.

I have my daughter's youth 870 set up with a Remington factory full and HW #7. It is poison at 30 yards and in.  Throws a more forgiving pattern for a new hunter (she is not a kid, just new to shooting).  As I killed 90% of my birds inside 30 yards, it is perfect for us. We'll just pass on the 40 yard birds until she is comfortable at that range.
