Finally put the footage together on a great bird I called in for one of my closest friends.

Wanna add a couple take aways for newer hunters....
1) Always stop before crossing some kind of opening and watch and listen. Had we just barged through this right of way we would have most likely scared this bird.

2)Calling the hens, particularly in the early part of season, will often drag a gobbler in behind them.

Great video and nice bird. Way to get that one last gobble out of him!  Nothing like making memories with good friends.

That was a nice hunt.  I watched the video with my daughter, and was glad there weren't no cursing or nothing...

Looked like he hit that bird in the back?
Did I do that?

Fly fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.

That last gobble made the video! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!!

Marc, that's not something you'll see me put out...just not that kind of guy.

In regards to the hit...yes it was in the back with a few pellets at the outer edge of pattern hitting the neck/head area.  He missed a bird the morning before.  We watched the replay of this hunt a few times with the video slowed down and noticed what the pattern was doing.  He hit the patterning board the next day and the point of impact was slightly higher and left of the point of aim.  Tried doing some things with the front sight that improved it some.  He has since got rid of that gun and picked up a new one.
