I went to L.L. Bean today (awesome, open 24/7) and bought my first box of Hevi-shot #6s. I plan on shooting 2 rounds out of the 5 at some poster board and then a paper turkey target tomoro, weather permitting.

These will be compared to Remington magnum Premiers #6 shot in a Mossberg 500. I'm hoping to see a huge improvement for $3 dollars a shell.

The 40 yards will be taped and I'll try to post some pictures tomoro, along with numbers in the 10.

Considering the 2 you plan on comparing,I'd bet money on the Hevi shot..

I wish it would be worth it to try them.... Only 4s-6s allowed in the state of Maine.

you could also try some nitros if you want another look.....   but the one you got will definately do the job....
