i bought a lead sled plus and my first time using it and took it to the range to sight in my Mossberg pump 835.
don't know if shotgun is to long or what , i thought your fore end suppose sit on the front rest, but it don't.
it sits right ahead of fore end and is tearing up my front sandbag rest from the recoil. does it matter if it rest in front of fore end.

I too would be concerned about the seating of your 835s fore end. Perhaps there is an add on for the lead sled? Good luck.

I have the Lead Sled DFT and the front rest is adjustable.  I looked up yours and it doesn't appear to have any adjustment like mine does.  Maybe call the company and see if they will upgrade you to a model that works with your gun?  Never hurts to ask.
Depending how long you have owned it the place you got it from may be willing to help you out in getting one that does fit.
Tons of Mossy's on the market that kick like a mule so I would think there are many owners with Lead Sleds that fit properly...

Have older lead sled also.  Being a pump action is shooter supposed to put left hand under the forearm{for rt. hand shooter} and rest left hand on front rest of lead sled-?-in other words left hand under forearm. Being a pump, and resting forearm directly on front rest seems to have quite a bit of uncontrolable movement.
