Unguided hunt near Dallas, TX?

Does anyone have any references for a ranch to turkey hunt close to Dallas, TX?  The only reasonable one I have found is about 3 hours away.  That's not too bad, but I would rather have one closer.  I will be in town for work, but I have to stay local during the weekend and would like to do a 2-day hunt somewhere.  The hunt should be unguided.  Thanks for any help.

I hunted on a WMA back in 2002 that was west for Ft worth. Not sure what the name of the place was though? Check the Texas Parks and wildlife site and see what you can find. I did not kill a bird there, but bud that was with me did.

Let me see if I can find some info for ya, we did not hunt here but it is a start.  Caddo National Grasslands WMA

There is all kinds of info on the Parks and wild life site.

You might check this out.  I found it on the texas hunting forums:

Fully guided turkey hunts. Hunts take place near Springtown and Jacksboro. Both properties total around 1300 acres. Big mature toms. Has not been hunted in years. $350 per day for one bird or add a bird the same day for $200. Very limited number of hunters. All dates open right now.

Wow, I visited Caddo to listen on Saturday morning, and actually got caught closer to a few birds than I wanted, so I ducked in the bushes and filmed.  Let me just say, no one should have any problems killing a bird there.  I believe it opens Friday.  Good luck to anyone who gives it a try, shoot me a PM if you want an exact location.  I got some pretty good footage of 4 different birds.
