Oh it will kill plenty good.  I have the exact gun shooting the exact reloads.  It's going on 30+ birds and all I like is the Merriam having the slam with it.  Hope to get that done in May.

Loads are 1 5/8oz of TSS #9's.  They are 1.2g/pellet, between 18-19g/cc density, and 365ish pellets to an ounce.  They are bad news on turkeys.  Guns are 300+ in the 10 @ 40 yards, and we've killed birds we've misjudge further than that.  They work well and are extremely efficient turkey killers.

Man, that's SWEET!!!
I think a little detail in the track (wrinkles at the joints, etc.) would make that absolute perfection...Not a criticism by any means 'cause I love it!
