New Colonial choke arrived today. It's XX FULL .676. Will try and pattern this weekend if weather permits. Will post results as soon as I can. Any loads recommend that won't break the bank?

From reading some of your post I see that you get better patterns when the temps are a little warmer. Is there a certain range I should wait for as far as temps?

When temps are similar to what they are during turkey season.

I was kinda thinking that but I had to ask. I'm a rookie
Thanks

Al,  did you have opportunity to pattern Colonial arms recent version of the old Star-dot for your 835?.  Weather in WI. just starting  to warm up some. If you haven't will you be  reporting roughly wind and temp. conditions?    Thanks

Is this the same Company that made the Star-Dot choke???

Colonial Arms has made claim they made "original star-dot choke tube".  To find out more detail on this subject you can do a search on this site.  Enter colonial arms, and than do a search on this site.  Some members appear to have really looked into this and shared their research with the rest of us.
