That is about as fine as they come.. I know what you mean by your saying, kind of like an old friend is gone.. Good on you for showing respect for him as well.. 3 years will build a relationship !

Thanks everyone. He is the overall largest bird I have killed. He is the first double beard I have killed as well. I have chased him around the farm for 3 yrs with him just in that iffy range multiple times including the last day of the season last year. It was a bitter sweet moment for me.

His main beard was 11.5" his second was 9", he weighed 19.1 lbs and his Spurs were 1 1/4 and 1 5/16.
