What is the longest you have had to wait to hunt?

I'd say 5 days and that's because season opened on Monday and I had to work.  I made the choice to change careers so that I can hunt and do what I need on my schedule.

Every day is opening day to me.

I get out every chance I get even if it's for an hour before work. Little rain doesn't bother them. They may not be as vocal that's all. Set up on an open field you'll catch them coming in or out. If your hunting a heavily hunted area for instance in public land the birds may become call shy. That's when I use my calls that are made out of the exotic woods. Good luck
