Heading to Florida

I'm heading to central Florida.  Generally, when do hens start laying?

Where I hunt in NE Florida about three weeks before the season opens. Aggravating.

They already are and in some places already in the sitting phase. It'a actually a good thing they're already laying and nesting in some areas.

A friend of mine that lives in Florida, I will be joinining him tomorrow seen a Gobbler breeding a hen yesterday about mid state on public land, guess where we will be saturday.

bring your rain gear.. it's going to be a wet one during the weekend.  Good news is all next week looks perfect.. a lot cooler temps too.
