Shot Beretta Outlander/ Jebs .655 yesterday with Hevi 13 3/2/6's and Hevi 13 3/2/7's. Shot 140's with 3/2/7's at 40yds in a 10 and the Hevi 13 6's less. Doesn't justify shooting shells that expensive although turkey would die up to 40yds. I have Win LB 5's, 6's, Magblends. Any suggestions or thoughts on why this combo would turn patterns like that. I had some 2in gaps in both patterns so I'm thinking the patterns may be blown. Anyone have any experience shooting lead 6's through this combination? I'm thinking the lead patterns may do well out of a choke this tight.

try the longbeards through it. I think you'll be impressed. My beretta liked the jebs choke with LB
It does pretty good with hevi too but a more open choke

Thanks, how did the POA/POI do on your gun? You have to add sights?

It was a little high I just aimed at the waddles

Shoot the long beard 6's.   I shot hevi shot for years and the quality of the shells have fell off

Thanks, that'll work. If my left and right are on I can adjust up and down with double beads. Hevi 13 has definitely dropped off. I have a couple of setups that will turn some good patterns with the new 3.5" 7's and 3" 7's but they are not what they were. Thanks.

Gonna run Fed HW 7's and Win LB 6's through the gun tomorrow after the hunt and see how they do. 3"

Shot some great hunting patterns with the 3" Fed HW 7's. Good 15-20" pattern at 40yds. Shot the Win LB 6's and the patterns looked like a competition gun. Too tight to shoot double beads and would require some optics. Good hunting patterns with Hevi 13 3/2/6's and 3/2/7's but not enough to justify cost. The HW 7's looks like best option. Will try 3rd degree since finding some success with FCW. Might even be worth while to try the standard Fed 3/2/6's lead loads with FCW. Used to kill allot of turkeys with that shell.

Anyone shot any Winchester lead shells (XX, HV, Etc) other than Win LB's out of a Jebs .655 choke? I'm thinking with that kind of constriction it may pattern pretty well. Trying to find some Federal FCW 3/2/6's in the Gold/ Black box now. Those shoot really well out of smooth chokes. Although the Jebs seems to have two constrictions within the choke I don't see any wad stoppers/ rings.
