Think this would be the ticket for the woods as far as comfort and ability to see 360 degrees...found this at a Cabalas store believe it was several years ago and it is very well made (aluminum..7 1/2 lbs.) but very expensive. Their web site lists it at $199 and Midway has it for $189 which is best price have seen. Adjusts down to 13" high which would be great for turkey woods and legs fold up for transport...carry strap...quick set up...and what makes it so great is the complete quite swivel feature...which is the only thing lacking in our seats/chairs...and I have a perfect one as far as all the features go...except being able to swivel completely around without making much noise. This affords you that because if you are in a make shift blind as I hunt out of many times....limbs all around me about shoulders high...and want to be able to slowly turn to face another direction you have a problem doing this if the seat does not swivel as you make your turn. Only one have seen that is this light and easy to carry....Cabalas has one for like $89 but it weighs 13 lbs. Anyone seen or tried this one from Millennium?

Sounds like you are talking about the Millennium Ground Blind Chair. It came out late last summer. I bought one and can tell you a couple things. It's in fact 10.5 lbs., it won't go any lower than 19 in,and is the most comfortable chair I have ever used. Well worth the money. The 7.5 lbs. is what caught my eye. I ordered it because I had $130.00 in Bass Pro gift cards. I almost returned it due to the weight. I am a serious ground blind hunter. I pack my blind and bow around spring and fall,so I'm always looking for quality , light weight gear. It has the quality for sure but I have NO idea why they claim a 7.5 wt.

Fallhnt, the Millennium web site lists the Blind chair...model G100 as the chair I am referring to. It is listed as 7.5 lb and adjusts 13" to 18"....$199.95. Think you are referring to the Shooting chair...model G200....14.5 lb. and adjusts 17" to 24"and lists for $149.95. The Shooting chair looks to be heavier than the Blind chair...has a round circle of tubing around the legs...but you said weighs 10.5 lb and the site lists 14.5 lb, so do not know why the difference in weigth. Anyway, think we are talking of two different models here...pull up the site and will see what I am referring to. They are well make alright and am tempted to order the Blind chair...just can't justify that price just to be able to swivel around to backside.

I own the G100. We are on the same page. I leave it up at the max height due to using it in a Double Bull ground blind and have set it next to my Double Bull chair ,which is claimed to be 19" ht. My mistake on saying it wouldn't go lower than 19". Sorry. Yes it will adjust down or adjust for uneven ground. The weight is actually 10.5 lbs. It is misinformation on Millennium web site. I weighed it when I got it home because I knew it was heavier than 7.5 lbs. It costs $200.00 bucks but IMO is WELL WORTH IT.I will use it 7 months out of the year. The best thing to do is go look at one and see if it is what you want. If nobody has one, order it and send it back if you don't think it's what you need. Good luck
