I don't know if I'm clueless or what, but I can't find the specific regulations on turkey hunting in Georgia.  I don't see costs for tags, but see there are WMA licenses/combo licenses for nonresidents.  I've been trying to look at additional options the past couple months, in case we get lucky and fill our tag for the Osceola.  I'm starting to lean towards geogia since it sounds like Florida public hunting is pretty crazy.  If anyone has any info on regulations and general parts of the state that have decent numbers of birds, would be much appreciated.  Thanks!

Not sure what sites you have looked at, but this link 'should' contain all the information you need.

Something new this year is the turkey harvest record. Make sure you have one of those.

It's a waste of time.

Georgia does not have any turkeys.

That is why there are no tags and little to see in terms of regs.

Yea the turkey tags requirement is new. I tried to get my tags from the DNR web site, but the link provided did not take me to the tags. A phone call to the number provided led to a recording with choices that had nothing to do with turkey's or tags. Called the main office. No help. Finally, downloaded the specified app for my phone. Will retry tomorrow.

Go to the gadnr website and you can buy and print your licences right there...I printed mine new tags the other night. You go to the purchase section and click on them but they will have a cost of 0...

There is not a specific Turkey hunting license. You'll probably have to purchase a non resident hunt license and non resident big game. There are tags this yr for Turkey's but they're free.
