Drake Rubber Boots

Drake, Ol Tom, and McAllister are under the same umbrella and based in TN.  Drake apparently developed a rubber boot line, and they are for sale at supposedly clearance prices in the usual places including ebay.

Was there a systemic quality problem with them?

Are they bad boots?

I got a pair in bottomland for Christmas and so far really like them. Very comfortable.
