Best vest

For me anymore... no vest, I have really cut down on what I carry with me. I found out what works for me and I am all about performance, with that said I am using a Badlands Magnetic Fanny Pack. Holds everything I need other than my DSD's and I bag those in. Can't believe what I used to think I "had" to have with me and what my vest weighed before I had a bird to carry out. Now when I go all in on some hunts things are setup days in advance and that's a different story.

Cabela's Tactical Tat'r II gets a lot of votes when this question is asked.  I bought one with the kickstand after last spring.   An actual hunt will tell the tale, but I've tested it and really like it.

I use one of these.  Not the kickstand version.  It's a great vest.  Heavier than some but its comfortable, tuff, and played out very well.

I tried two others before I found the Cabelas Tactical Tat'r? 2 (no kickstand).  It's perfect for me.   Great pockets, very durable so far.  I believe I purchased it around 4 years ago and hunt 2-3 states per year so it gets plenty of use.
