Purchased a new camera and been having problems uploading pics, finally had to ask my wife for help. Managed my first bird after working him for about 45 minutes. He ended up coming in with a pair of jakes and a single hen. I sent a 3 1/2" Nitro load (my last one) his way at about 30yds and he was DRT. 19.2lbs, 11" beard and 3/4" spurs.

My second bird came into my dekes in a cut cornfield. Birds have been frequenting the field so I set up my DSD dekes before first light. No gobbling in the morning at all but I stuck it out. The longbeard arrived later in the morning with six jakes. They worked their way in my direction and at about 18yds my Benelli barked and I sent a 3 1/2" Magnum Blend load his way. Unfortunately I hit him alittle low somehow and thinned his beard out somewhat  :(.  Still don't know how I managed that. He was 18.3lbs, 10" beard and 1" spurs.
Here is where he dropped.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
