Tagged this guy on Monday of the first week in PA. He was 21lbs, 10-1/4 beard with 3/4 spurs. There were 6 birds gobbling from every angle with numerous hens and I ended up in the middle of this party. After fly down and yelping back and for with the boss, the whole flock ended up in my lap. I let one fly out of the Beneli and smoked him at 43 steps, 6:05AM....just in time for some eggs and cup of coffee!
I like my turkey well peppered

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
