Last Friday the Sugar Valley Charter School had there Ag Day and Turkey calling Contest, It was alot of fun. I got to tour all their Projects for the year, They Raised trout That they released into the local streams, Made bat houses, Recycled Plastic Bags to have Benches made for the school ,The sheep Herders Club, they Raised sheep for the wool and made blankets.The Turkey calling contest was fun to, I took some calls over so they could Play and practice before the contest , and of course we deep fired some wild turkey. i would like to give a big THANKS to every body that donated calls, Rick Harro from Gobbler Getter Turkey calls for helping me make nail calls for the kids,and the box calls ,scratch boxs Andy Snairs pot call, Kenny Crummett,box call and mouth calls from Gooserbat Game calls, Pioneer Enterprises. We Had 13 students sign up this year, The first five got to pick there call off the table, and we had enough calls to give everbody a nice call and a couple mouth calls.
