What does everything think about these calls? I have bought a couple and can use them ok.

Flextone makes a variety of calls.... If you are asking about their Thunder series, then I don't have anything to say other than they should be embarrassed to put their name on them - but that's just me.

Find you a custom call maker that will build you what you want. Money well spent. Most of that Flextone stuff is junk.

I have their  diaphragms and they sound good.  I have to trim them up a bit because they use a lot of tape.

Every flex tone I have bought I wish I would have used the money towards a custom or at least a better name call ....don't last long and most aren't very easy to use

I loved the first trash talker call I bought from them. I can run that bad boy better than any other. Killed two PA birds with it this year.

BUT

I had thought I misplaced my original. Bought 2 more for next year but wanted to go out with a buddy. Both the ones I bought were terrible. I bought 2 more hoping that I might get lucky. Came pretty close but just look at this picture.

Look at how different the tension, and cuts are. I am in the process of looking for a call maker who can make what I want. I found a good one here in PA that is going to send me a few to try out. Hope I can get one that I like.

Really bums me out though as I absolutely love that call. Can do turkey talk with it. Might not be the best at it, but decent enough.

I heard awhile back that Flextone bought out Zink. Hope the Zink calls do not suffer this fate.
